Charlie is
available (subject to date) for sessions in the Nashville,
Tennessee area or at your location at your preferred studio. He
specializes in 5-string banjo, rhythm guitar, and acoustic bass. Charlie
can also produce and/or arrange your project. Vintage RCA ribbon
microphones (44-B and 77-DX) are also available at a nominal fee when you
book Charlie on your session. Please check for availability and terms. |
Visitors to our
city often request authentic Country Music as a part of their Tennessee
experience. Charlie can assemble a unit of exciting Bluegrass style music
for your function. From an old-time Fiddle/Banjo duet to a full Bluegrass
band, Charlie has nearly 20 years of experience in this aspect of
entertaining. Having worked with many of the major market Hotels and
Convention Centers in the Tennessee area, this type of performing is a

"Super Group", this assemblage of musicians are all well known individual
Bluegrass performers who maintain separate careers and converge to record
a new level of Traditional Bluegrass. Band members include Missy Raines,

O'Brien, Jeff White, Jerry Douglas, Dennis Crouch and Charlie Cushman.

Their material ranges from their own original compositions to their favorite Traditional Bluegrass songs, all performed with the excitement you would expect from these players.
